Mustard Tub Soak

When you're sick in our house we resort to a few go to's that work every time. Some of these include home made chicken noodle soup, mustard plaster, and a mustard soak. When I was home last I whipped up a batch of mustard soak to detox and get healthy before the end of my vacation (who else hate's being sick on vacay!)
Why mustard?
Mustard helps draw toxins out, relieve tired muscles, and clear sniffles- says my grandma :)

Supplies:

- 2 cups Epsom Salts
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 1/4 cup dry mustard
- 2 chamomile tea bags or a couple TBSP chamomile flower
- about 20 drops Japanese Mint Oil

Method:

Step 1: mix all supplies together and seal in an air tight container
Step 2: add about 1/4 cup of mixture to a hot bath, soak for at least 20 mins, drink lots of water afterwards

*if you have sensitive skin this may be too harsh for you- you could try adding less to your bath
