Gel Candles

When I was looking for a way to display my sea shells from Costa Rica that would also be useful I came across this gel candle "wax" and thought I would give it a try.
Well this is the easiest (and cleanest) candle making project ever!
Plus this gel burns for a very long time.
The gel, wick and container are from Michael's; the decorative glass is from IKEA.

Supplies
- A heat proof jar/ container
- Sand or decorative glass
- Gel candle "wax"
- A wick
- Any time of heat proof decoration

Method

Step 1:
Place the wick in the middle of the container (I used a little hot glue to make sure it stayed put)

Step 2:
Arrange the sand or glass as well the decorations as you'd like

Step 3:
Follow the instructions on the gel 'wax' container to prepare the gel (mine were to heat the bag it came in slowly with hot water until the contents were liquid)

Step 4:
Carefully pour the wax into the middle of the container, to just about at the top of the container
